Latino Dance Party In Hightstown June 17

All proceeds support the annual Hightstown-East Windsor Latino Festival.

HIGHTSTOWN, NJ — The Hightstown and East Windsor Latino Festival Committee hosts its first Latino Dance Party on Saturday, June 17, 7 p.m.-11:30 p.m. The party’s at St. Anthony of Padua Gym, 251 Franklin Street in Hightstown.

Featuring Skyline Salsa Band and DJ Caribbean Mix Entertainment, this exciting event is music and dance, but also delicious food from a variety of Latin America countries, dazzling performance and above all, fun.

Crossing all borders and breaking down cultural barriers, the Skyline Salsa Band speaks the universal language of music. A widely-praised group playing primarily salsa classics as well as cumbia that many people grew up with, but known for its versatility, these musicians are dedicated to bringing communities together.

The 14-piece band is based in Montclair State University. Starting as an instrumental trio, the band grew to feature two singers, six horns, three percussionists, and three rhythm artists. Made up mainly of professional musicians and educators, they have fashioned a highly-acclaimed and unique sound.
