Mercer Convenience Store Sells $200K Winning Lottery Ticket

The lottery player won the amount in a scratch-off prize.

MERCER COUNTY, NJ — A Mercer County lottery player struck it rich, claiming the first of four $200,000 top prizes available in the New Jersey Lottery's $5 Deep Pocket Scratch-Off game.

The winning ticket was sold on Sept. 23 at Welsh Farms, located at 92 Flock Road in Hamilton.

Since launching in 1970, the New Jersey Lottery has generated nearly $34.6 billion for the state, funding essential programs and services.

Under a 30-year agreement enacted in 2017, lottery proceeds currently support the public employee pension system.
