The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Sept. 17, an officer charged two people for conspiracy to commit theft at iHop on Route 33, following a motor vehicle stop. The officer observed the two men at the rear of the restaurant after business hours. The officer conducted a follow-up investigation and determined the two men, both from Newark, were going to steal cooking oil valued at around $636.00.
On Sept. 18, an officer arrested a Staten Island resident for a Woodbridge warrant following a motor vehicle stop. The 28-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and turned over to the custody of the Woodbridge Police.

On Sept. 19, an officer arrested a Trenton resident for a Trenton warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Route 130 South. The 46-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on his own recognizance.
On Sept. 19, an officer arrested an East Windsor resident for driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop at Lake Drive. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released in accordance with John’s Law.

On Sept. 19, an officer charged a Rahway resident with shoplifting $523.33 worth of merchandise from ShopRite. The 69-year-old was issued a complaint summons pending court action.
On Sept. 20, an officer arrested an Edison resident for an East Brunswick warrant following a motor vehicle stop on Dutch Neck Road. The 32-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on her own recognizance.
On Sept. 20, an officer arrested a Plainsboro resident for shoplifting $181.62 worth of merchandise from ShopRite. The 81-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons pending court action.
On Sept. 20, an officer arrested an Ewing resident and a Hamilton resident for shoplifting $2,438.13 worth of merchandise from Walmart. One of the defendants had an active Bensalem warrant and was found in possession of a crack pipe. That defendant was later taken to Mercer County Corrections. The other person was issued a complaint summons pending court action.
On Sept. 22, an officer arrested an Iselin resident for possession of suspected heroin and driving under the influence following a call for service. The 59-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, issued a complaint summons pending court action, and released in accordance with John’s Law.
On Sept. 23, an officer arrested a Barnegat resident for active warrants following a motor vehicle stop on Route 33 East. The passenger began obstructing and was placed under arrest after a brief struggle. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on her own recognizance. The passenger was taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons pending court action.
