Possession of CDS, False Government ID: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Jan. 9 had the following reports:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ β€” On Jan. 2 at 2:58 p.m., an officer responded to Oak Creek Road at the intersection of Dutch Neck Road for a report of a motor vehicle collision. One of the involved drivers showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver, an East Windsor resident, was also in possession of suspected heroin. The 58-year-old was processed and later released on a summons pending court action.

On Jan. 2 at 9:22 p.m., an officer stopped an individual for a pedestrian traffic violation on Route 33 East. The East Windsor resident was found to have an active warrant out of Eastampton Township. The 39-year-old was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On Jan. 4 at 7:08 p.m., an officer responded to AT&T Wireless for a report of an individual at the store who was known to staff for committing fraud at other AT&T stores in the area. The officer identified the individual, a resident of Rosedale, NY, and found him to be in possession of a fraudulent Ohio driver’s license with another individual’s information on it. The 39-year-old was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on a summons pending court action.

On Jan. 5 at 12 p.m., authorities charged a man for shoplifting that took place in December. On Dec. 6, 2024, an officer responded to TJ Maxx for a past tense shoplifting report. The man selected five handbags with a total value of around $200, and left the store without paying. The case was assigned to a detective who identified a suspect as a Trenton resident. The 32-year-old was later charged on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Jan. 7 at 1 p.m., a woman was charged for shoplifting that took place last year. On July 8, 2024, an officer responded to Target for a past tense shoplifting report. The suspect left the store without paying for $346 worth of merchandise. The case was assigned to a detective who identified the suspect as a Philadelphia resident. The 30-year-old was charged on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Jan. 8 at 1:53 p.m. an officer responded to the Hightstown High School baseball field for a report of an individual sleeping in the dugout. The man was found to have active warrants out of East Windsor and Mercer County and was placed under arrest. He was taken to police headquarters where he was found to be in possession of suspected heroin and suspected crack cocaine. The 47-year-old East Windsor resident was charged on a complaint summons pending court action and later taken to Mercer County Corrections where he was detained on the active warrant.
