Reckless Driving, Burglary: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotter dated Oct. 12 had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Oct. 6 at 10:07 p.m., an officer responded to Route 33 East near Twin Rivers Drive for a report of an individual slumped over the wheel while stopped in traffic. The driver, a 48-year-old Barnegat resident exhibited signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. He was later released pending court action.
On Oct. 9 at 12:20 a.m., officers responded to Dennison Drive for a report of an individual rummaging through parked vehicles. The officers located the man and determined that he had entered multiple unlocked motor vehicles and stole various items from within. The 21-year-old East Windsor resident was placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
On Oct. 11 at 11:20 p.m., officers responded to the Wynbrook West Apartment parking lot for a report of an individual rummaging through parked vehicles. The officers located the man and determined that he had entered multiple unlocked motor vehicles and stolen various items from within. The 20-year-old East Windsor resident was placed under arrest and later released pending court action.
