The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ - On July 31, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle had its front license plate improperly displayed. The driver was found to have a suspended license and active warrants out of Linden, Trenton, and Bellmawr. The 31-year-old from Linden was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance. C

On Aug. 1, an officer was patrolling the Windsor Regency and located a motor vehicle that was reported stolen out of Ewing. A short time later, the officer observed an individual believed to be involved with the vehicle and contacted him. The man denied his identity and attempted to flee from the officer; however, the officer stopped him. The man was placed under arrest and found to be in possession of the stolen car’s key. Additionally, he had active warrants out of Ewing and Mercer County. The man was taken to police headquarters, processed, served with a criminal summons, and later turned over to the custody of the Ewing Police.

On Aug. 2, an officer stopped the vehicle after a registration check revealed that the owner had active traffic warrants out of Robbinsville, Trenton, and Hightstown. The officer confirmed the driver was the owner and placed her under arrest. She was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on her own recognizance.

On Aug. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle being operated erratically, and a check of the registration showed it was suspended. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On Aug. 4, an officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot after observing the vehicle did not have a front license plate and the rear license plate was obstructed. The driver was found to have a suspended license and an active warrant out of Atlantic County. The 42-year-old Brooklyn resident was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On Aug. 5, an officer responded to the parking lot of ShopRite for a report of a vehicle driving recklessly and attempting to strike an employee. The employee said that he was hit by the vehicle several times and sustained very minor injuries. He declined medical assistance. The officer identified the driver and charged her accordingly.

On Aug. 6, an officer responded to Route 130 South in front of Royal Plaza for a report of a hit-and-run motor vehicle collision. The at-fault vehicle was reportedly disabled on the highway. The driver of the at-fault vehicle showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. Additionally, the officer found two open beer cans inside the vehicle. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, but refused to comply with breath testing procedures. He was later released pending court action.
