The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On June 20, at 1:54 a.m., an officer responded to Exit 8 Lounge for a disturbance. Two people were disturbing other patrons before breaking bottles and flower planters outside of the establishment. The individuals were placed under arrest, but resisted the officer’s control. Other officers arrived and assisted in getting the individuals under control. One officer sustained a minor injury to her wrist. The individuals were taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on complaint summonses pending court action.
On June 21, at 4:25 p.m., an officer responded to ShopRite on a report of a shoplifting that just occurred. The suspect placed $13.40 worth of merchandise in a bag and exited the store after bypassing all points of sale. ShopRite employees confronted that individual in the parking lot and he fled the area on foot after dropping the merchandise. The officer identified the suspect and charged him accordingly.

On June 22, at 1:19 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver, a 35-year-old East Windsor resident, showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The driver was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
On June 24, at 4:25 p.m., an officer was conducting an accident investigation when he learned a passenger of one of the vehicles had an active warrant out of Millstone. The person was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released after posting bail.

On June 25, at 2:14 a.m., an officer responded to the parking lot of McDonald’s for a report of a driver who was possibly intoxicated. The officer found the person who showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The person was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
