Theft Of Credit Card, Reckless Driving: East Windsor Police Blotter
The East Windsor Police blotter dated Sept. 26 had the following reports:
EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Sept. 22, at 3:26 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 130 South near the Colonade Motel because the vehicle displayed a fictitious New Jersey license plate. The officer spoke with the occupants and noticed indicators of drug use/possession. A search of the vehicle yielded suspected crack cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Both the driver and passenger were placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on complaint summonses pending court action.
On Sept. 24, 1:14 a.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on Milford Road after observing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver then accelerated away from the officer at a high speed as he approached the vehicle. The officer obtained a description of the driver and conducted a follow up investigation. The Burlington resident was identified and charged with multiple criminal and traffic offenses on summonses pending court action.
On Aug. 15, a victim reported she lost her credit card in the area of 7-11. She further said that she received alerts from her bank for fraudulent charges at East Windsor’s ShopRite and Target. The total amount was $1,231.80. The case was assigned to a detective who identified the suspect. On Sept. 25, the suspect was charged on a complaint summonses pending court action.
