Tires Stolen, Cars Left Propped On Milk Crates In East Windsor: Police

The suspects fled the area after they were confronted by a resident, police said.

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — Tires were stolen from three vehicles in East Windsor on Tuesday morning, leaving them standing on milk crates, police said.

The incident took place between 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. in the Twin Rivers section of the township.

A resident told police they saw one of the thefts take place and confronted the suspects, but they fled the area before police could arrive, authorities said.

According to police, the suspects were in an older model silver minivan. The vehicle was seen on Covington Drive, Livingston Drive, and Madison Drive.

Residents who live in the area are requested to send any relevant video footage to amejka@ewpd.com and tips@ewpd.com. They should also call 911 if they observe suspicious activity.
