The following is a summary of incidents as reported by East Windsor Police:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ — On Aug. 17, an officer conducted a traffic stop after observing the vehicle being operated erratically. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. Additionally, the East Windsor resident was found to have a suspended license, and the officer noticed an open beer bottle inside the vehicle. The 29-year-old was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.

On Aug. 17, an officer stopped a pedestrian for jaywalking. The 42-year-old was found to have active warrants out of Trenton and East Windsor. The East Windsor resident was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On Aug. 18, an officer responded to ShopRite for a past tense forgery report. It was reported that on June 19, two women passed a counterfeit $100 bill and made a purchase in the floral department. The case was assigned to a detective who identified both suspects, a 19-year-old and a 22-year-old from the Bronx. They were charged accordingly.

On Aug. 20, an officer conducted a traffic stop on Route 130 North. The officer observed a Byrna LE launcher, which closely resembles a handgun, inside the vehicle. The driver, a 28-year-old from New Britain, CT, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and released on a complaint summons pending court action.

On Aug. 20, an officer responded to the area for a report of a single-car motor vehicle collision. The driver showed signs of impairment and was placed under arrest after failing field sobriety tests. The 26-year-old Toms River man was taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released pending court action.
