Warrant, Shoplifting: East Windsor Police Blotter

The East Windsor Police blotter dated Jan. 1 had the following reports:

EAST WINDSOR, NJ β€” On Dec. 26, at 10:330 a.m., an officer responded to 680 Route 33 East for a motor vehicle collision. According to the initial investigation, one of the drivers had an active warrant out of Little Egg Harbor. The driver, a 39-year-old Monmouth Junction resident, was placed under arrest, taken to police headquarters, processed, and later released on his own recognizance.

On Dec. 31, at 2:34 p.m., an officer responded to Target for a report of a shoplifter being detained by loss prevention personnel. It was determined that a Roebling resident placed $980.88 worth of Legos in a shopping cart and then bypassed all points of sale. The 39-year-old was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters, processed, and released on a summons pending court action.
