Woman Steals $2K Necklace from Tavern on the Lake
Hightstown police blotter from March 19 to March 27.

The following report is based on information released by Hightstown Borough police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Daniel Moran, 20, of Grant Avenue in Hightstown, was arrested and charged him with unlicensed entry of a residence by Hightstown police on the 200 block of Franklin Street on March 19. Moran was found sleeping in a rear room of the residence, by the homeowner, in an intoxicated state. Moran was not authorized to be in the residence and was arrested for such, according to police. He was processed and later released on a summons complaint with pending court action.

On March 20 at 5 p.m. at the Hightstown Borough Police Department, a subject came to headquarters and reported a theft of his license plates. The subject reported that between March 12 and March 19 their vehicle was parked in the driveway of a residence in the 200 block of Stockton Street. Upon returning on March 19 the subject observed the license plates missing. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.

On March 21 at 6:05 p.m. on the 100 block of Clinton Street, officers responded to a report of a party being at a residence with active warrants out of Hightstown Borough Municipal Court. Upon their arrival, officers met with the suspect, Deanna Robinson, a 64-year-old female of Lakewood, NJ who was found to have four active warrants issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court totaling $2,000. Robinson was taken into custody and later released on bail with pending court action.

On March 23 at 1:41 a.m. officers took a theft report from a patron of Tavern on the Lake. The subject reported that a gold necklace, valued at $2,000, was stolen by an unknown female, described as being Caucasian and wearing white pants. The subject stated that he was showing the female and another party the necklace, which was removed by the subject to display such, and while the necklace was on the table the unknown female took the necklace and left the establishment. Anyone with information regarding this incident or the identity of the female subject is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.

On March 27 at 1:19 a.m. officers took custody of Moses Johnson, 40, of Trenton, and charged him with contempt of court. Johnson was arrested on warrants issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $378, he was later released upon posting bail with pending court action.
