2 Incumbents Unseated, 1 Keeps Edison BOE Seat: Unofficial Results
Shannon Peng is expected to keep her seat, while Joseph Romano and Vishal Patel are leading the race, unofficial results show.

EDISON, NJ — Two incumbents have lost their seats while one retains hers in the Edison BOE race, according to unofficial results from the county.
As of Wednesday noon, Kevin Hajduk and Shivi Prasad Madhukar were trailing, while Shannon Peng was among the top vote-getters.
Peng's team which includes Joseph Romano and Vishal Patel led the highly competitive BOE race in Edison. With all districts reporting, Romano received 8,542 votes, followed by Peng with 8,018 and Patel with 7,246.

Hajduk and Madhukar received 6,176 and 5,338 votes respectively.
With 564,454 voters, the turnout In Middlesex County was 191,772.

The tally is subject to change as the Board of Elections receives and processes ballots that have been cast in the election, according to the county clerk. .
The County Board of Canvassers will certify the official results on or before November 21.
