20-Inch Water Main Damaged In Edison, Some Residents Have Little To No Water

Edison is coordinating with the contractor and County to ensure the work is resolved. See impacts:

EDISON, NJ - A 20-inch water main was damaged in Edison on Wednesday, leaving residents of some neighborhoods with little to no water, Mayor Sam Joshi said.

According to Joshi, a private contractor hit the water main, causing the damage. Currently, residents between Mill Road through the Bonhamtown area, along Woodbridge Avenue are impacted with little to no water.

“The private contractor will be responsible for fixing our damaged water line and all associated costs,” Joshi said.
