39 Edison, Metuchen Students Up For National Merit Scholarship
The students are recognized for their outstanding academic records.

EDISON, NJ — The 2019 National Merit Scholarship semifinalists were announced today, and 39 students from high schools in Edison and Metuchen were nominated for the honor.
The students are among 16,000 students honored nationwide. 7,500 scholarships will be awarded to the scholarship finalists next spring. Students qualify by scoring highly on the 2017 PSATs. They must them submit a scholarship application, and show that they have an outstanding academic record.
