Auditions Scheduled For Middlesex Co. Plays-in-the-Park 2024 Fall Show

Auditions are scheduled for Aug. 14 for the show "James and the Giant Peach."

EDISON, NJ — Are you interested in theatre? Here’s your chance to make a mark in the County.

Middlesex County’s Plays-in-the-Park is looking for talent for their fall show, “James and the Giant Peach.

Auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 14, at 7 p.m.

Those auditioning must be prepared to sing approximately 16 bars of music and bring sheet music in the proper key, marked with any cuts. An accompanist will be provided.

“James and the Giant Peach” is based on the children’s book by Roald Dahl. This musical will hit the stage on Oct. 5 and features tuneful songs by the Tony Award-nominated team of Pasek and Paul. It will be staged at Stephen J. Capestro Theater, 1 Pine Dr, Edison.

Plays-In-The-Park is a community theatre, and all performers are volunteers.

Actors of all ethnicities and gender identities, as well as those with disabilities, are encouraged to audition.
