EDISON, NJ - A downed pole on Route 27 in Edison has prompted commuting delays Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 7:17 a.m., there’s a downed pole on Route 27 southbound near Vineyard Road in Edison Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

One right lane is currently closed, the agency said.
