Ducklings Rescued From Storm Drain By Edison First Responders
The adorable little ducklings fell into a storm drain after they wandered away from their lake.
EDISON, NJ — A group of ducklings got themselves into a predicament when they fell into a storm drain Wednesday morning — luckily, Edison first responders were able to rescue the ducks.
The group of ducklings wandered away from Lake Papaianni near the municipal center, and fell into the drain outside a strip mall on Talmadge Road. Police officer Daniel Bradley, firefighters Robert Torres and Tim Castleton, and the animal control officer got into the storm drain to rescue the three ducklings.
The animal control officer took the ducks, and will look to reunite them with their mother back in the wild.
