EDISON, NJ - A flipped dump truck and debris spill on Route 1 in Edison has prompted commuting delays Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:36 a.m., there’s a debris spill and an overturned dump truck on Route 1 northbound north of Morris Goodkind Bridge in Edison, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

There are currently two right lanes closed, the agency said.
