Vishal Patel, Azzarello & Peng Take Lead In Edison BOE Race 2025: Unofficial Results
Here's who's leading the race in Edison's Board of Education election.

EDISON, NJ — The polls have closed, and unofficial results are in for the 2025 Edison BOE race.
With all 78 districts reporting, Vishal Patel, Russell J. Azzarello and Xiaohan "Shannon" Peng are leading the race.

According to Middlesex County, Vishal Patel got the highest number of votes at 11,456 (17.50%), followed by Azzarello 11,031 (16.86%) and Peng 10,911 (16.67%).
This election, eight candidates are seeking to fill three spots on the BOE.

All election results remain unofficial until certified by the Middlesex County Clerk's Office on a later date.

- Sarjil Mansuri: 5,027 (7.68%)
- Taha Shaikh: 3,599 (5.50%)
- Sparshil Patel: 7,242 (11.07%)
- Brian Rivera: 7,806 (11.93%)
- Joseph Romano: 8,179 (12.50%)
- Xiaohan "Shannon" Peng (Students First): 10,911 (16.67%)
- Vishal Patel (Students First): 11,456 (17.50%)
- Russell J. Azzarello: 11,031 (16.86%)
