Dems Take Lead In 2025 Edison Mayor & Council Race: Unofficial Results
Here are the unofficial results in Edison's Mayor and Council election.

EDISON, NJ — The polls have closed, and all 78 districts have reported for the 2025 General Election.
According to Middlesex County, incumbent Mayor Sam Joshi (Democrat) is leading challenger David Tingle by a large margin. Joshi got 20,142 or 71.51% of votes while Tingle got 7,952 or 28.23% of votes, according to unofficial results.

In the council race, the Democratic candidates held a large margin of votes against their challengers.
Tingle was running for Mayor for the first time along with Gloria Dittman and Samiksha Sharmas, and Elizabeth Conway.

Joshi, 36, ran with an all-new slate of Kelli Dima, Biral Patel and Robert J. Kentos.
All election results remain unofficial until certified by the Middlesex County Clerk's Office on a later date.

Edison Mayor
- Sam Joshi: t 20,142 (71.51%)
- David Tingle: 7,952 (28.23%)
Council Race
- Kelli Dima (D): 17,708( 23.40%)
- Biral Patel (D): 18,366 (24.27%)
- Robert J. Kentos (D): 19,263 (25.46%)
- Gloria Dittman (R): 7,727 (10.21%)
- Samiksha Sharmas (R): 7,820 (10.33%)
- Elizabeth Conway (I): 4,655 (6.15%)
