Edison To Host 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony For 2024

The ceremony will take place at the 9/11 Memorial Fountain in Papaianni Park at 6 p.m.

EDISON, NJ - The Township of Edison will be holding a 9/11 remembrance ceremony for 2024 on Wednesday.

The ceremony will take place at the 9/11 Memorial Fountain in Papaianni Park at 6 p.m.

Mayor Sam Joshi along with members of the Council and first responders will be in attendance.

The ceremony will honor all those who lost their lives in the terror attack including residents from Edison.

More than 2,700 people died at the World Trade Center alone on 9/11, including the passengers of American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175.

Another 184 were killed when American Airlines Flight 77 crashed into The Pentagon in Washington, D.C., and 44 died on United Airlines Flight 93 near Shanksville, Pennsylvania.
