Edison Man Pleads Guilty In Plainfield Murder: Prosecutor
A 33-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl were also injured in the shooting.

EDISON, NJ — An Edison man has pleaded guilty in the shooting death of a 24-year-old man in Plainfield in 2015, Acting Union County Prosecutor Michael Monahan said.
Jordan Robinson, 25, pleaded guilty to first degree aggravated manslaughter of Anthony Bowles of Plainfield in a Wednesday hearing. He will likely face 23 years in jail when he is sentenced in March, Monahan said.
Robinson admitted to the Nov. 6, 2016 shooting that also injured a 33-year-old woman and a 6-year-old girl on Evona Avenue. Bowels was taken to the Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center in New Brunswick, where he was pronounced dead. The other two were taken to a different hospital for treatment.

Robinson was identified as a suspect in the case and was arrested in Matawan on Nov. 19, 2015 and lodged in Union County Jail on $1.5 million bail.
The investigation into the shooting remains active, and authorities are continuing to ask anyone with information to come forward.
