Edison, Metuchen See Several Inches Of Snow In March Storm

According to the National Weather Service, Edison and Metuchen both saw several inches of snow. See exactly how much here.

EDISON, NJ — Much like last year, it looks like winter waited until the last minute before packing a punch in Edison and Metuchen, with an early March snow storm dumping a significant amount of snow on the town.

According to a National Weather Service newspaper spotter, Edison got 5.5 inches of snow by 5:50 a.m. on Monday, and Metuchen got 3.1 inches by 11:15 p.m. Sunday night (an updated total for Metuchen was not yet available as of Monday morning).

And the March snow isn't over yet. There's a 30 percent chance of more snow on Friday night, following a chilly first week of March.

  • Thursday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 26.
