EDISON, NJ - A crash on the New Jersey Turnpike in Edison has prompted commuting delays Friday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:39 a.m., there’s a crash on the New Jersey Turnpike outer roadway northbound north of Interchange 9 - NJ 9 - Rt. 18 in Edison, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

The right shoulder is currently blocked, the agency said.
