Edison Public Schools Unveils New Website, Mobile App

The district has also launched an AI-powered chatbot that offers real-time answers to frequently asked questions.

EDISON, NJ - Edison Township Public Schools has launched a new website and mobile app to strengthen communication and engagement in the community.

The mobile app, available for free on the Apple App Store and Google Playstore, serves as a hub for districtwide and school-specific updates. Users can tailor their experience by selecting specific schools and managing notification preferences, offering a personalized experience.

“Our goal is to provide the Edison Township community with responsive access to vital information, fostering deeper connections and stronger engagement. We listened to community feedback and gathered metrics throughout the 2023-2024 school year to help drive the redesign,” Heather Daniel, Director of Communications and Policy said in a statement.

“These platforms, powered by Apptegy, a leader in K-12 communications, support over 240 languages and feature enhanced digital accessibility. One of the app’s key benefits is enabling families to remain actively informed.”

Edward Aldarelli, Superintendent of Edison Township Public Schools, said the platforms will help build stronger district-to-family relationships, essential for fostering student success.

"With these tools, Edison Township Public Schools is leveraging technology to build a more engaged and collaborative community," Aldarelli said.

The district has also launched an AI-powered chatbot that offers real-time answers to frequently asked questions. Users can provide feedback to each generated answer, which will help refine the chatbot’s accuracy and performance over time.

“With the launch of the website, app, and AI chatbot, we will continuously refine and update content based on user feedback and data. This approach ensures that our digital platforms remain responsive to the evolving needs of the Edison Township Public Schools community,” Daniel said.
