Edison Reschedules Trunk Or Treat Event Thursday Due To Weather
A pre-Halloween storm closed roads and soaked the state on Thursday.

EDISON, NJ - The township was to host a free trunk or treat event at Papaianni Park on Thursday, but has now rescheduled due to inclement weather.
The new date is now Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Papaianni Park.
The family-friendly Halloween celebration will feature free candy, music, and a touch-a-truck experience where children can explore emergency vehicles up close. The event is open to the public at no cost.

A pre-Halloween storm closed roads and soaked the state, according to officials. Downed trees and wires have been reported statewide, closing roads in Morris County, Somerset County, Ocean County and more, officials have said.
Power outages are being reported in Cherry Hill. Pockets of outages are also reported throughout JCP&L's coverage area, according to the company's outage map.

Flooding has been reported on several North Jersey highways, according to 511NJ. Additional coastal flooding is expected this evening along the Jersey Shore and Delaware River.
