Edison Unveils Renovated Winter Street Park With New Pavilion, Dog Run, Sports Courts
Members from the Department of Public Works joined the Mayor and Council in the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

EDISON, NJ - Mayor Sam Joshi and the Edison Council marked the official reopening of Winter Street Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony recently. They unveiled comprehensive renovations to the community recreation space located at George Avenue and Anita Avenue.
The upgraded facility now boasts an array of modern amenities, including a new pavilion, gazebo, dedicated dog run, paved walking path, resurfaced basketball and tennis courts, and enhanced playground equipment with new swing sets.
"This project demonstrates our commitment to maintaining all 32 upgraded Township parks for residents to enjoy," Joshi said in a statement. "We want each park to serve as a gathering place where families can connect, unwind, and stay active together."

Representatives from the Department of Public Works joined Joshi and Council members at the ceremony to celebrate the park's transformation.
