Here’s How Much Snow Edison-Metuchen Got Tuesday Morning
Some parts of the state recorded 32 inches of snowfall.
EDISON-METUCHEN, NJ — The second winter storm, and first of 2021, left much of New Jersey covered in snow Tuesday morning. Some parts of the state recorded 32 inches of snowfall. According to latest estimates, Edison received 14 inches of snow and Metuchen recorded 19.7 inches.
Public offices and schools in Edison and Metuchen were closed on Monday.
There was no change to Edison Public Schools' schedule as the district is already following remote learning.

The Metuchen Public Schools operated on a half-day, all-remote schedule on Monday. They will follow the same schedule for Tuesday as well. Food distribution is scheduled for Wednesday and Friday. COVID-19 testing is scheduled for Thursday and Saturday.
All COVID-19 vaccine appointments were cancelled throughout the state, and facilities were closed at the mega sites.

Gov. Phil Murphy was expected to provide updates on the nor'easter during an 11 a.m. news conference on Tuesday. The state remained under a State of Emergency on Tuesday.

- Metuchen 19.7 in
- Milltown 13.0 in
- South River 13.0 in
- North Brunswick 12.0 in
- South Brunswick 11.5 in
- Plainsboro Township 11.4 in
- Highland Park 11.0 in
