Juneteenth Celebration Planned In Metuchen Saturday
Attendees can learn about Juneteenth and enjoy performances from drumline, step-dancer and majorette performers.
EDISON, NJ — The Metuchen Downtown Alliance along with the Metuchen Human Relations Commission and Metuchen Edison Branch of the NAACP, will be hosting the 2nd Annual Juneteenth celebration on Saturday.
Attendees can learn about this holiday and enjoy performances from drumline, step-dancer and majorette performers.
The theme of 2022 will be Afrofuturism. Metuchen downtown will feature art focused on Afrofuturism throughout.

Performers include SoulPhamm United, Steppaz with Attitude, and Positive Movement Entertainment.
The event will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Metuchen Town Plaza.
