Metuchen Lights Will Brighten Holiday Season Beginning Wednesday

For the fourth consecutive year, Metuchen will be lit up to spread some holiday cheer.

METUCHEN, NJ — If you love the lights on display in Metuchen during the holidays, this is good news for you.

For the fourth consecutive year, Metuchen will light up downtown and spread some holiday cheer. Metuchen Lights will return Wednesday for the holiday season, Mayor Jonathan M Busch said.

“This awesome Metuchen tradition will brighten up our downtown for the fourth consecutive year, this time with an expanded footprint. It is, among so many other reasons, what makes our downtown so special during the holiday season,” Busch said on Facebook.

This year, Metuchen will light up Main Street, Metuchen Plaza and New Street.

According to Busch, members of the Metuchen Downtown Alliance and a host of volunteers spent nearly a month hanging decorations and lights.
