Netflix Production Featuring 'Schitt's Creek' Star Takes Over Edison Hardware Store
The production crew was spotted at the store located on Old Post Road.
EDISON, NJ – Four-time Emmy winner Dan Levy is bringing his latest Netflix series to Edison, with production crews recently spotted filming at a local hardware store.
The comedy series, currently listed in production documents as "Bad Mistakes," was filming Monday at Edison Millwork and Hardware on Old Post Road. The family-owned store has been serving the community for nearly 50 years.
Netflix announced the forthcoming show in May but has not confirmed the working title. According to production listings, filming is scheduled to run from August through early October in the area.

The series, created and executive-produced by Levy and Rachel Sennott, follows two deeply incapable siblings who are blackmailed into the world of organized crime. Levy stars alongside Taylor Ortega in the lead roles. Ortega, a writer and actor, was born in Cranbury, NJ.
Levy, best known for his work on "Schitt's Creek," won four Emmy Awards in 2020 for writing, producing, directing and acting in the acclaimed comedy series.
