NJ Symphony To Play At Metuchen's First Downtown Concert
The concert, on July 2, is part of the New Jersey Symphony's Free Summer Concert Series.
METUCHEN, NJ - The New Jersey Symphony is all set to bring its entire orchestra to downtown Metuchen! On July 2, the NJ Symphony will perform at the Plaza in Metuchen's first ever downtown concert.
The Independence Day weekend celebration is part of the Symphony's Free Summer Concert Series and will be the only one held in the region, informed Mayor Jonathan M Busch.
The program features a tribute to Sondheim, Sousa’s ode to his time in New Jersey in “The Atlantic City Pageant,” Rossini’s Overture to The Barber of Seville, Florence Price’s “Juba Dance” and more, according to a media release from NJ Symphony.

Apart from Metuchen, free outdoor concerts will be held in Newark and Toms River. More details on the upcoming concert will be provided closer to the performance date.
