People Helping People Presents the 2025 Arts & Entertainment Festival – A Celebration of Local Talent
Edison, NJ — November 29, 2025 — People Helping People presents The Arts & Entertainment Festival, a vibrant celebration of creativity and community that showcases the depth and diversity of New Jersey’s arts scene on Saturday, December 6, 2025. This year’s festival highlights directors, actors, and visual artists through a powerful lineup of short plays, panel discussions, and curated artwork — all created by local talent.

The heart of the festival is a showcase of short plays written and directed by New Jersey artists, including Playwright/Director/Producer Andrea Clinton, Actor/Playwright/Director/Producer Doriane Swain, and Playwright/Director/Producer Melissa Schaffer.
This year’s festival also welcomes Special Guest Panelists:

- Eddie Swanson, Director of Photography, sharing expertise in cinematic visual storytelling and his experience working with Apple Music, Apple TV, and filming interviews with celebrities such as Alicia Keys, Lady Gaga, Bono, Ariana Grande, Danny Glover, and more.
- Carter Roc Mangan, Audio Technician, offering insight into sound, technology, and production workflow from his work on HBO projects and television shows including Greenleaf, NCIS: Los Angeles, All American, and Ginny & Georgia.
- Nakia McCall, Theatre Writer, Director & Producer, discussing theatre creation, structure, and producing plays including Detroit ’67, Her Dreams, Fences, A Raisin in the Sun and Poof! for the stage.
Beyond the performances and panel discussion, guests are invited to explore the festival’s curated Visual Arts Exhibition, featuring original works available for viewing and purchase. The Arts & Entertainment Festival continues People Helping People’s mission to bridge the gap between creators and communities by producing meaningful opportunities, uplifting artists, and expanding access to the arts.
