EDISON, NJ - Raising Cane’s is planning a drive-thru restaurant in Edison.

According to an application filed with Edison’s Planning Board, Raising Cane’s is proposing to convert an existing bank with a double drive-thru restaurant and a 135-square-foot increase in footprint, according to documents.

The site is located at 1031 Route 1. The applicant is seeking preliminary and final site plan approval with variances for the drive-thru.

Raising Cane’s specializes in chicken fingers and is also known for its crinkle-cut fries and Texas toast meals.

The Planning Board is expected to hear the application on Nov. 18.
