Restaurant Week Begins In Downtown Metuchen

Enjoy fixed-price menus from Metuchen's variety of dining spots during Restaurant Week, starting Saturday.

METUCHEN, NJ — Saturday can be a good start to your foodie adventures for 2024, with Restaurant Week in the borough.

After experiencing an East Coast earthquake on Friday, and looking ahead to a total solar eclipse on Monday, you deserve to go out this weekend.

Downtown Metuchen has racked up the accolades lately: Winner of the prestigious "2023 Great American Main Street Award" and named "Jersey's Best 2024 Destination of the Year," notes Dawn Mackey, executive director of the Metuchen Downtown Alliance.

"We look forward to showcasing the diverse flavors and experiences that make Metuchen a premier dining destination," she adds.

From April 6 to April 12, diners can enjoy special prix-fixe menus reflecting the "rich tapestry of cuisines that define the area."

There are cozy cafes and upscale dining establishments, each offering a unique dining experience, she says.

"Whether craving authentic Greek dishes, Tuscan Italian pasta, or indulging in mouthwatering desserts, there's something to tantalize every palate during Downtown Metuchen Restaurant Week," Mackey says.
