St. Patrick's Day Block Party Coming To Edison On Saturday
Enjoy a day of Irish-inspired fun at the Edison St. Patrick's Day celebration this Saturday, March 9.
EDISON, NJ — The annual Edison celebration of Irish heritage and culture, the St. Patrick's Day Block Party, is set for this Saturday, March 9, the township says.
It's taking place from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 922 Αmboy Ave., the Stewart's lot, and is sponsored by Mayor Sam Joshi and the Edison Council.
Here is a sampling of what to expect: Irish music by Blarney Boys & Celtics Rebels Band; bagpipers; Irish crafts; Irish dance by Lynn Academy of Irish Dance and Yvonne's School of Dance; a beer garden for 21-plus sponsored by Elixir Bar and Grill; plus food trucks, fire pits, face painting and more.

And while you're in the Irish spirit, don't forget the nearby 2024 Woodbridge St. Patrick's Day parade. It runs from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 10. This is the 50th year of the parade.
