Struck Gas Line Causing Major Delays In Metuchen
Breaking: Police aren't sure how long the emergency construction will last.

METUCHEN, NJ — Emergency construction to fix a broken gas line is causing major delays in Metuchen Monday afternoon, borough officials said.
The line was struck by construction workers near New Durham Road and Middlesex Ave. There is already heavy traffic, and officials anticipate it getting worse. Drivers should plan to avoid the area.
It's not currently clear when the emergency construction will wrap up.
