Proceeds will go to providing respite experiences to children and adults battling cystic fibrosis
The Take a Breather Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing respite services for children and adults battling cystic fibrosis, is looking for donors who are interested in participating in the annual Spring Lake 5 Mile Run on Saturday, May 24th.
The event is currently sold out to the general public. However, representatives from Take a Breather have indicated that they are offering bibs to anyone who is looking to participate by contributing to their cause.
The organization is asking that interested parties contribute $100 to their mission, and that they attempt to raise another $300 through their participation in the event.

Proceeds will go toward Take a Breather’s mission of fulfilling the individual wishes of those who endure the hardships of battling cystic fibrosis. The foundation aims to provide these individuals with a “breather,” or a moment of relief to ease the emotional, psychological and financial hardships of living with this chronic illness.
Founded in 1996, Take a Breather works with over 20 cystic fibrosis clinics around the country to understand the needs of each individual patient, to create lasting memories and smiles, according to the foundation.
