Two Job Fairs Set For Edison Summer Playground Counselors
Edison needs to hire counselors, head counselors for the Summer Playground Program. Van drivers also needed.
EDISON, NJ — The Edison Recreation Department is looking to fill jobs this summer, and you can learn about the positions at a job fair on Thursday.
This is the first of two job fairs and will be Thursday, Feb. 15, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center, 1070 Grove Ave.
On Thursday, Feb. 29, a second job fair will take place at the Edison Municipal Building, 100 Municipal Blvd. Hours are also 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Go to the Recreation Department on the second floor.

The township needs summer counselors and head counselors: "Enthusiastic individuals, " ages 16 or older, are needed to provide varied, supervised activities for children ages 5 through 12. The activities include crafts, games, sports and trips.
The Summer Playground Program is operated at various playground locations throughout the township for six weeks, starting July 1. Hours are Mondays to Fridays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Head playground counselors, 18 years of age and older, will plan daily activities and organize mini-trips to skating, bowling, movies etc.
The township is also looking to hire van drivers, 21 years of age and older, and floaters.
