Winter Wonderland & Winter Market Scheduled In Edison, Metuchen

Exciting Holiday events are scheduled to take place in the Township and Borough on Saturday.

EDISON, NJ – Saturday is going to be a busy day for the residents of Edison and Metuchen.

The Township and Borough have organized two events that are sure to get residents in the mood for the Holidays.

3rd Annual Winter Wonderland In Edison

The township will host the 3rd Annual Winter Wonderland on Saturday at Papaianni Park, Mayor Sam Joshi announced. The event will take place from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

This year's highlight will be a snowball fight! The snowball fight will not use real ice or snow, so it's safe for all ages.

There will be food, music, vendors, skating, horse-drawn carriages, and more.

The tree-lighting ceremony will take place at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a winter tavern with fire pits.

With over 100,000 lights displayed, the event will be one-of-a-kind in the Township and the perfect way to kick off the Holiday season with friends and family.

Annual Winter Market In Metuchen

The Borough's annual Winter Market will be held on Saturday.

Attendees can not only shop locally but also explore Metuchen's Downtown. This year, the borough will host the Winter Market and the Winter Holiday Art Market (WHAM) within walking distance from each other.

The markets offer the perfect opportunity to meet the makers and artists.

The Winter Market will take place at the Town Plaza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and the WHAM will take place at Peterson Park from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Shop, sip, and stroll all through Downtown as you check out all the great art, shopping and eating.
