Bergen Woman Is Chris Rock's Girl Scout Cookie Rival: Report

Linda Dunn, an Englewood resident, said Rock mentioning her at the Oscars and then reportedly selling 13,000 boxes is a 'fun story.'

ENGLEWOOD, NJ - Linda Dunn never thought she’d become famous overnight.

Dunn found herself on the international stage Sunday night when Oscars host Chris Rock mentioned her and her daughter, The Record reported.

“Daddy, how come we never sell the most cookies? How come Mrs. Dunn wins every year?” Rock said. “It would mean so much to my little girl if we could beat Linda Dunn. I want you to reach into your billionaire pockets and buy some of daughter’s Girl Scout cookies.”

“It’s a fun story,” Dunn told The Record. “The real story is about these kids [who] go out and sell cookies to benefit their community and their personal goals.”
