Burgerwood on the Move
Teen-owned restaurant departs from East Palisades Ave for new Englewood location
After just a few short months at its East Palisades Avenue digs, teen-run restaurant Burgerwood has packed its bags. But don't fret, you won't have to walk far to find its new location.
The Hollywood-themed burger restaurant has departed from 51 East Palisades Avenue to 24 North Van Brunt Street, next to BergenPAC. A grand opening at the new location is scheduled for Friday, March 29.
Founded and operated by three teenage friends (one of whom is from Englewood, another from Cresskill), Burgerwood offers a wealth of customizable burger options. It's the only dedicated burger joint in town.

The eight-ounce patties offered are beef, chicken and even black bean burgers, cooked to the customer's liking. Six cheeses, 13 toppings, nine sauces and a full bar complete the possibilities. The menu also includes appetizers, fries, shakes, salads and desserts.
Burgerwood's phone number (201-871-8600) will remain unchanged.
