Learn How To Preserve Historic Homes In Bergen County
The workshop is designed to help local historic preservation officials better preserve Bergen County's history.
BERGEN COUNTY, NJ — Preserving Bergen County's history and buildings in which that history occurred is the focus of a workshop being held soon.
The Bergen County Division of Cultural and Historic Affairs will host a workshop for members of local historic preservation commissions next month. The workshop will help representatives more effectively try to save historic locations, develop guidelines and best practices, and gain more support from their communities.
The county is working with the National Alliance of Preservation Commissions to run the workshop.

Training will take place at the learning center at the county administration building at 1 Bergen County Plaza Oct. 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Admission is free, but space is limited to two current members from each local historic preservation commission.
