UPDATE: Fair Lawn, Saddle Brook Public Schools to Follow Early Dismissal Schedule Due to Blizzard Watch
The alert says the state should expect "heaving snow and blowing snow with blizzard conditions" and 1 to 2 feet of snow accumulations.

Saddle Brook and Fair Lawn Public Schools will follow an early release schedule Monday after the Townships have been put under a Blizzard Watch.
The blizzard watch is in effect from Monday afternoon through Tuesday evening, as the National Weather Service says a “potentially historic winter storm [is scheduled] to impact the area from late Monday into Tuesday.”
According to the alert, the state should expect “heavy snow and blowing snow with blizzard conditions likely” and 1 to 2 feet of snow accumulations.

The “heaviest snow and strongest winds will occur overnight Monday into Tuesday,” causing “extremely dangerous travel.”
The alert also warns of “whiteout conditions,” impassable secondary and tertiary roads, and strong winds that can potentially bring down power lines and tree limbs.
