CVS Shoplifters, Drug Arrests: Fair Lawn PD Blotter
Police responded to a number of incidents over the past week, including several narcotics-related arrests and a shoplifting incident.
FAIR LAWN, NJ - Fair Lawn police responded to a number of incidents over the past week, including several narcotics-related arrests and a shoplifting incident at CVS Pharmacy.

P.O. Geovanny Buitron initiated a motor vehicle stop on Broadway at Summit Avenue and arrested the operator, a 36-year-old Bronx, NY man after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance & failure to keep right.

P.O. Brad Pindyck initiated a motor vehicle stop on Parmelee Avenue at Backus Road and arrested the operator, a 29-year-old Fair Lawn man after arrest warrants were located out of Fair Lawn ($1,888) & Paterson ($1,500). He was released after bail was posted.

P.O. Justin DiGuglielmo initiated a motor vehicle stop on Route 208 at Harristown Road and arrested the operator, a 42-year-old Hewitt woman after an arrest warrant was discovered out of Ringwood for $1,500. Crack cocaine was discovered on her person and suboxone was found in her belongings. She was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance, failure to remove snow/ice from a vehicle, cracked windshield & operating with a suspended license, then handed over to Ringwood Police.

P.O. John Kelly, P.O. Juan Rodriguez, P.O. Geovanny Buitron, P.O. Justin DiGuglielmo & P.O. John Rovetto responded to CVS, 24-12 Fair lawn Avenue, on a report of a shoplifting in progress. Officers were able to stop the vehicle in question nearby. After questioning and the recovery of items totaling $492.97, plus narcotics, arrested the following: Michael Bouchotte, age 32 of Teaneck, Robert Pitts, age 44 of Paterson, Samantha Boseski, age 30 of Clifton, Julia Macello, age 27 of Teaneck.
Bouchotte was released after being charged with receiving stolen property. Pitts was released after being charged with shoplifting, possession of drug paraphernalia & possession of hypodermic needles.
Boseski had arrest waarants out of Bergen County (no bail), Paterson (1,750) & Wayne (1,000). She was charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance & possession of drug paraphernalia, then sent to Bergen County Jail.
Macello had arrest warrants out of Fair Lawn ($1,355), Paramus ($1.050), Wayne ($1,000), Mahwah ($1,000), Teaneck ($1,000) & Demarest ($1,000). She was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, then sent to Bergen County Jail.

Det. Anthony Lugo approached a suspicious person on Broadway at 17th Street and arrested a 40-year-old Kinnelon man after heroin & suboxone were discovered in his parked vehicle nearby. He was released after being charged with 2 counts of possession of a controlled dangerous substance (CDS), being under the influence of CDS & CDS in a motor vehicle.

P.O. Juan Hinojosa initiated a motor vehicle stop on Broadway at Yerger Place and arrested the passenger, a 21-year-old Saddle Brook man, after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

P.O. Anthony Ferreira initiated a motor vehicle stop on Fair Lawn Avenue at Elmary Place and arrested the operator, a 21-year-old Clifton man after marijuana was discovered inside the vehicle. He was released after being charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance.
