Fair Lawn Family Lost Home In Fire, Fundraisers Started

The Horowitz family has to 'start over from scratch.'

FAIR LAWN, NJ — More than $50,000 has been donated to a borough family whose home burned down in a fire Friday night.

The fire destroyed the house and everything Shani and Yitzy Horowitz and their children had.

"They need to start from scratch: Clothing, kitchenware, furniture, etc," Miriam Schreiber Stobezki posted on a GoFundMe campaign she launched for the family Saturday.
