The National American Miss pageant is family-oriented and keeps all activities and competitions at age-appropriate levels. Girls under 12 are not allowed to wear make-up, and there is no swimsuit competition. Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.

Isabelle's mom said she wanted to thank her sponsors, including Rinko Orthopedic Appliances, Inc., Dr. Edward Shmaruk with Back2Health Chiropractic Center, Moonlight Ballroom Dance Studio as well as family, friends and other individuals.
