Fair Lawn Schools Evacuated Following Bomb Threats: Police

The threats came in via email, officials said.

FAIR LAWN, NJ — Bomb threats were made against two schools through email Thursday that appear to be connected to similar incidents nationwide.

The schools received the threats in spam emails. Both schools were evacuated and students were brought to their evacuation sites: Memorial Middle School to the Fair Lawn Jewish Center and Radburn Elementary School to Radburn Association Grange Hall.

Students were dismissed at their regular time, officials said. Buses picked students up from the evacuation sites and parents were encouraged to do the same.
