Farmer's Market Opening July 3
A cold spell in May delayed the opening of the weekly market from its original planned opening this week.

The Fair Lawn Farmer's Market will open for the season July 3.
The weekly market, now in its fifth year, takes place on Wednesdays from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the New Song Church parking lot.
This year, the market will include anchor Silver Lake Farm, local shop Nuts For You, popular Paterson picklers Dr. Pickle and traditional Mediterranean foods from Nana's Home Kitchen, according to Jane Spindel, who coordinates the market for the Fair Lawn Garden Committee.

The market was originally slated to open this week, but a cold spell in late May caused a delay for the farmer, according to Spindel.
It will likely run through mid October, depending on the weather.
